This sparkling wine, refermented on the lees from Marzemina Bianca grapes, is the result of a carefully selected harvest in 10 kg crates, gentle pressing, and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18°C. The wine then completes part of its fermentation in the bottle, becoming a naturally lively "sur lie" wine. For this reason, the bottle may show a slight sediment. This wine is completely free of added sulfites: none are added to the grapes, during fermentation, or to the wine before bottling.

Marzemina Bianca
Marzemina Bianca is a historic Venetian grape variety, with documented evidence dating back to 1679 by Giacomo Agostinetti, who in his “Cento e dieci ricordi che formano il buon fattore di Villa” wrote: “here with us we have several kinds of white grapes: ...Marzemina, and we even have some of this in white.” Later, in 1825, Acerbi, in Dalle viti italiane (Ed. P.G. Silvestri – Milan), referred to it as Berzemina di Breganze. In the early 1900s, during the post-phylloxera period, it tended to be replaced by more productive varieties and survived only in a few marginal vineyards, often vinified in blends with other grapes. The Miotti family, in the Breganze area, distinguished themselves by producing it in pure form.
